Students at Rethink take an active role in accounting for one another, planning field days and field trips, meal planning, project planning and more.
Each student gets a turn being leader, learning to counsel with their fellow students and adult mentors, being aware of and meeting needs and problem solving. Rethink adopts a culture of “we” rather than a culture of “me”.
At Rethink we also teach basic personal management skills, teaching students to follow simple plans as well as write down and refer to goals. The techniques used emphasize basic effective skill building.
